Italia!

Hello my sweet family and friends❤️❤️
I never wanted to write this email, but sometimes the lords plan is
different than our plan, and we just have to move forward with faith
in him. I will be coming home from my mission due to health reasons
that I've tried to fix out here, and after many prayers, fasting, and
talking with my mission President, we decided it would be better to
come home. I know my mission President is an inspired man called of
god, and although I know it won't be easy coming home, I know it's
what's right. With that being said, I would just like to say a few
last things...
1. The mission has changed my LIFE! These sweet And sometimes very
stubborn Italians have opened up my eyes and heart so much. Each of
them have made an impact on my life and I will forever be grateful.❤️
I learned many things...but a big one is that faith is not something
so much we just believe, but rather a way we live our lives. Faith
without works is dead, and I watched the power of the scriptures, the
power of prayer, of going to church and taking the sacrament change
hearts in front of my eyes. What a special thing it has been to see
that witness and watch the light in someone's eyes turn on as they
start to realize the power of Christ's atonement and love for them
which leads to my second thing.
2. The power of the atonement is real! Before my mission I didn't
really understand the atonement, I still don't fully understand the
atonement, but I understand how it can change hearts, how it can mend
souls and give people a new hope, and a new light in their lives as
they come to realize who their savior is and his unconditional love
for them. I realized in my own life the power of the atonement as it
carried me through some pretty tough days, but also the happy
days...it covers every aspect of our lives. We experience heartache
and trials to take those opportunities to come unto Christ. Without
them, the atonement would go to waste, and everything Christ suffered
for would have no meaning. The atonement is real, and it can heal
broken hearts ♥️ "There is no sin or transgression, pain or sorrow,
which is outside of the healing power of His Atonement." - C. Scott

3. I love these sweet people with all my heart. Italy will always hold
a special place in my heart...not only the members and our
investigators, but these drivers too sure made an impact on me...ha
always scared for my life anytime we were crossing roads, or getting a
ride....it's true that God protects his missionaries cause I'll tell
you what...between Sorella Miele and Giovanna...I should probably be
dead by now! Ha they sure knew how to rim up that engine through the
roundabouts😅
4. Heavenly Father and our saviors love is real and available to
everyone. "When you pray with faith, you will feel God’s love as His
Spirit speaks to your soul. No matter how alone or uncertain you may
feel at times, you are not alone in this world. God knows you,
personally. As you pray, you will come to know Him." -C. Scott Grow
Christ and and our Heavenly Father never turn away from us, we are the
ones who turn away from them. As you come to realize and understand
their love for you, you will want to be and do all you can to develop
a relationship with them.
5. The gospel of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true! Guys I
can't tell you enough how grateful I am for this gospel. It gives me
purpose in life, it gives me hope for this life and for the life to
come. God's true church has been restored, and I have been so blessed
these past 8 months to have been able to be apart of this great
missionary force teaching others about it. Just because my mission is
ending now doesn't mean I'm no longer a missionary....we are all
missionaries, with or without a tag, and it is our responsibility to
build up god's kingdom in these last days.....so andiamo con
forza!!!!😊

I'm gonna end by baring my testimony in Italian.
Io so che Gesù cristo vive, che lui è il nostro salvatore. Abbiamo
questa esperienza sulla terra dove ci sono i giorni che sono
difficile, ma anche i giorni che sono felice....ma abbiamo tutto di
queste cose affinché possiamo usare e capire l'esposizione meglio.
Senza queste cose, l'esposizione non avrebbe nessuna importanza nelle
nostre vite. Io so che il potere delle scritture è reale, che
veramente il libro di mormon è un altro testamento di Gesù Cristo. C'è
una citazione che mi piace un sacco, è dice, "possiamo parlare con dio
tramite la preghiera, e dio parla con noi tramite le scritture."
Quindi, ogni volta che leggiamo le scritture, possiamo sentire l'amore
che dio ha per tutti di noi, ma anche possiamo trovare per le risposte
delle nostre domande. Avevo questa bellissima opportunità sul la
missione di sapere che veramente, le scritture ci porta le risposte,
ma anche cresce le nostre testimonianze di il Vangelo, di Joseph Smith
e che lui Era chiamata da dio di restare il Vangelo con il potere di
dio. Dobbiamo agire secondo la volontà di dio sul le risposte che
riceveremmo. Io so che dobbiamo vivere in fede sempre, di aiutare i
nostri spiriti crescere come dobbiamo mangiare di vivere fisicamente,
anche dobbiamo dare i nostri spiriti lo stesso cose di vivere come
lettura le scritture, venire in chiesa, e pregare. Tramite la
preghiera, possiamo sviluppare una riporta personale con dio. Sona
grata di conoscere dio, e il suo figlio Gesù cristo, che loro ci ama
tantissimo!! Più che possiamo immaginare, e tutti di noi abbiamo una
grandissima potenziale che sanno, quindi dobbiamo mettere la nostra
fiducia in loro e la strada Hanno stabilito per noi di seguire. Io so
che Thomas Monson è un profeta chiamata da dio di guidarci. Il Vangelo
di Gesù cristo ci porto tanti benedizioni. Mi porta gioia, pace, e
speranza in questa vita. Sono grata per la opportunità che ho avuto di
servire una missione. Sempre ci sono mode che possiamo essere
missionari, di essere I instrumenti nel I mani di dio. Non so tutto,
ma Io so che queste cose sono vero e mi ama il nostro salvatore con
tutto il mio cuore e tutti di queste cose che lui ha fato per noi
affinché possiamo avere gioia in questa vita. Gesù cristo è il esempio
perfetto di seguire. Lui già ha stabilito la strada di seguire. Mi amo
tutti di voi è di nuovo sono grata che ho avuto la opportunità di
servire i figli do dio in bellissima Italia per questo tempo.❤️vi dico
queste cose, Nel nome di Gesù Cristo, Amen.

They told me when I come to visit Italy next year, we have a place to stay. haha they are the best! They are all less active and the dad is not a member. They use to hate missionaries, and now they love us :) I showed them how to play spoons yesterday and they looooooved it!
