Hello, Ciao, Buongiorno, goodmorning:)
What a lovely fall day outside....feels a little more like winter, but I love the pretty colors, and crisp air.
Anyways GUYS I LEAVE IN 12 DAYS!!!! WHERE IN THE WORLD IS TIME GOING?? I've almost been out a whole month, and it honestly doesn't feel real.
Okay so I'll start with some of the silly things....
1. Service on tuesday, (i slept awful the night before) so maybe got a whole 4 hours of real sleep so you can imagine i'm exhausted, I feel blind by the lights....all the good stuff.
We got the stair cleaning duty, so Sorella weeks Has the vinegar bottle to spray handrails, and accidentally sprays it straight in my eyeball, and man i have never felt my eye burn so bad. Needless to say, I could say again like 15 minutes after, so I'm not blind:)
I Also Am getting hunch back status over here in the mtc...guys we are in desk about 11 hours per day, and you can imagine.....haha it's really bad we hunch all day, so it's a thing when someone notices in our class, they yell "BASTA" which means enough in Italian, and we all sit up. :) hahah posture is a struggle, but we are working on it.
Also Halloween! Well Everyday here is the same...even the weekends don't feel like weekends except sundays are the best:) So....Halloween, I switched nametags with Sorella Vanderkooi, and We matched outfits...haha lame I know, but that's about as festive as we can get here. ;) Also Anziano Hansen in one of the other districts had his mom send him TONS of candy, so we would go knock on his class door, say trick or treat, and get some chocolate:) YUM!
Also hey I haven't hit my head once this week on the bars....finally getting this stuff down!
It took 4 weeks tho...lol.
Okay guys so sunday, I got called to speak in sacrament..out of the 55ish missionaries, President Whiting calls on me (of course the day I don't prepare my talk) lol, but it went really well. :) Im glad I have lots of notes from devotionals to go off of, so that's what I used. I bore my testimony in Italian, (the best I could) and Honestly the spirit was so strong. I was crying, some of the missionaries were crying, and It was a very special moment in my heart that reminded me why I am here, To share this great message, to bear my testimony to all I come in contact with.
This week President Nelson came to speak to us on tuesday night devotional. WOW what an amazing man he is. I truly felt how much love he has for everyone, for god, and for his sweet wife. He talked about Christ-like attributes, and how that is one of the most important things we can develop on our mission. I have decided I want to learn how to be more humble, and patient. I learned we can't just ask god for these attributes, but we have to WORK for them, and find opportunities where we can use them. So example, I am with 2 companions all day 24/7, and I have learned how to work with them and be patient with them. We are all different, and have different opinions, but as I try to serve them, and help them, I am learning how to be more patient. So President Nelson challenged us to look for ways we can be more like Christ, to love others as he did, and to always lean on him, always pray, always read our scriptures...we have to put in effort to recieve answers. So I will challenge all of you with the same thing. Find one christlike attribute you want to improve, and look for opportunities you can develop it, pray for god's help, and you will be a much happier person as you do so, as I have experienced here at the mtc. :)
In the choir tuesday, wow it was amazing! Because President Nelson spoke, they broadcasted it to all the other MTC's in the world, and Everyone told me I was on the screen....close up....aweeee! haha but we sang Praise to the man, and it was so powerful! Because of Joseph Smith, I am here, we are all here, and I am so grateful he did what he did so All of us have the chance to be apart of this great gospel. Brother Egget asked me to give the prayer in choir practice....He eyed me down, (probably cause he knows me and was in a hury) dang It was a lot of people! 1,100 missionaries, and it was a bit scary, but va bene. :)
Okay Sorry this email is long, but lastly......WE GET OUR FLIGHT PLANS TOMORROW!!!! WHATTTTT?????? I'M SO EXCITED:)
Sorry The email sent by accident, but lastly We got to skype an Italian member and it was so cool!! Funny story, I said the closing prayer and totally forgot her name, so I just made it up, and bust out laughing. She started laughing and it was just a super funny/awkward moment for all of us. Haha Anyways I Can't wait to be there and meet these amazing people in real life! I got to be a host again, and that was great:) Love seeing the new missionaries come in! Lastly, There was an earthquake in my mission....all the missionaries are counted for, and I truly know god watches out for all of us. I can't wait to leave here soon! I have learned so much, and have so much more to learn:) Love you guys, and I'll talk to you next week:)

Well sisters I need to send a few others some eamils, but know How much I love you and am so grateful for all the dear elders. Love love love them and so grateful to have such awesome sisters who support me<3 Give everyone hugs for me, and just think in 17 months....it's sushi time, and a jam session to drink to that all night:) (I do miss my music, but it's okay.) Well sissy's have a great week!! You're always in my prayers. <3 love always your little Sorella Nick
---- So the other day I went running and on my playlist was "drink to that all night" by Jerrod Niemann and I just started laughing and crying at the same time. Nick would sing that song in the funniest country accent and just be completely ridiculous. So I missed her lots plus it was a rough week so I missed her even more. And then when she says thanks for having me at the Halloween Party....
haha
Also, here are some pictures she sent to us. Bray made her the little which picture and Paige painted Olaf because last year her and Paige painted minion pumpkins, Olaf, Sully and Mike and they were outside all night! haha she had to send her another one :)
Can't believe she is gone in 2 weeks to Italy! So excited for her but a little scared that my baby sis is going to be across the world from me! Crazy. But she's definitely excited to get there. Until next Thursday!
