Sometimes life is like chocolate covered bananas...it ends up on the ground

Ciao tutti❤🤗
Well weird week to say the least...first writing February 29 on everything and realizing it doesn't exist...mind blown! I always forget😅 also Sorella Meager made some lovely chocolate bananas last night and I hear this plate crash to the ground, and go in...chocolate and bananas are everywhere and broken blanket on the floor..sad day😅 and second welllll let's start with me and Sorella Meager are literally the SAME person....and when I say same I mean the same😂 kinda really actually freaks me out...like of course we both love country music and horses and sushi....lots of people like that stuff too...then we get down to the DETAILS of life and weird...siamo lo stesso..not even surprised anymore at everything we have in common. Our conversation usually goes something like this...Your mom has insomnia, so does mine..not to mention both our dads side of the family have high cholesterol...okay well my grandpa died when I was 4, yup same. Your dad embarrasses you like no other? Yes. Also my dad is the youngest in his family and my mom is the oldest...sameee. only daughter to serve a mission...a huh! Brothers taught you how to play PlayStation, perfer cup over cone at gelateria, favorite color turquoise,  best friends are named Rachael, each have younger brother, we love hot chocolate.. (who doesn't)😜not a fan of Snow White...(her voice)😑still use our elementary lunch code number for everything, The list just goes on and on and we just keep adding to it everyday, so I think I found my twin sister. We even finish each others......Nutella😂 Only difference, she's brown hair, I'm blonde, and our rooms are different colors😅

Highlights of the week:

-we visited cute Carla who is a less active and talked to her about the importance of the Book of Mormon...invited her to reread it and pray again to know if it's true...emphasizing that Faith is not something we just have and stop practicing, faith is how we live, and just like a plant needs water to grow, we need to nurture our faith to continue to grow our testimony by the big three...
  1. reading the scriptures
  2. Go to church and take the sacrament
  3. Pray, pray, pray:)
We get off at the train station to walk to her house and it's pouring rain which what a coincidence we forget our umbrellas and just get dumped on😂 we couldn't find her house and just walking in circles in the rain..good times good times🤓Carla got us towels when we got to her house to dry our hair..so yes spring is great:) I love the rain!!

-We went to davides church, and literally it was like a summer concert only indoors! 😅 I never knew when we were praying or what was going on cause randomly everyone would start whispering and closing their eyes while the guy still played his guitar, then shouting hallelujah and amen throwing their hands up...me and Sorella Meager just followed along, all the while laughing (like always) cause we were so confused what was going on! Anyways, it was an interesting experience, and we missed our bus on the way home and finally caught another bus which broke down for like 10 min on the side of the road...the doors kept opening and closing and I think the bus driver was ready to rip out his hair trying to figure out the situation!😅

-We pulled our beds out on the balcony and slept outside which still not sure if it was worth it😅 it's not quite summer yet...we are getting a little ahead of ourselves here😅 but it was fun:) we pulled them inside after it rained and now they're in our "family/study" room....slowly making their way back to the actual bedroom😂

-Tuesday lesson with Silvana and Sorella Miele came with us again:) it's always awesome having a member at the lesson to help not just with the language, (which saves our lives) lol but also sharing their experiences and how they came to know that this is Christ true church because most all the members here are converts. Not to mention sorella Miele and Silvana are now best friends...maybe they will have a sewing party soon! They are both so good at it!😱 😅cute ladies❤🤗 On the way home though... goodness these Italian drivers....Sorella Miele can't talk to us without looking at us...so while my comps eyes are on the road, Sorella Miele is looking at her talking😂 literally it's brake....gas....brake....grinding gears and flashing emergency lights😂 she flips those on every time she turns a corner, and me and Sorella Meager both are dying laughing as I'm kicking her seat😂 too good😂 then roads that SHOULD NOT BE ROADS suddenly turn into one and I'm just closing my eyes praying we make it home in one piece! BUT we always get Gelato after because we've made it through a car ride with her :) and fortunately Sorella Meager had to pay this time, because Matteo (Silvana's husband) didn't come out and dance in the middle of the lesson. (We makes bets on this every Tuesday on this who will have to pay after)😁

-we went and visited are adorable Italian grandparents again❤ love them to pieces❤we shared with them the plan of salvation which was so special because we talked about the importance of eternal family's and that one day they will get to see their son again who died a few years ago. They were so happy and kept telling us that they feel so much peace when we're in their home. Can't wait to see them again soon:)

-and lastly....well I kinda sorta dreamed in Italian...not quite sure what it all meant, but hey they say once you dream in the language, it's coming....well ya I still tell myself everyday...when it comes, that'll be the day Sorella Rindlisbacher, that'll be the day.😂😂👍🏽

I love you all and again thank you for the emails and prayers❤ I'm so blessed to be here with Sorella Meager, and to be a missionary...even though at times it's been hard, it's always been so worth it in the end.❤
Love Sorella Rindlisbacher
Quote of the week: "it does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop." D&C 10:4 "do not run faster or labor more than you have strength, but be diligent unto the end."💕
