Hello one and all! Yesterday was zone conf. So pday is today, and zone
conf. Was oh so good
spiritually filled, especially listening to our amazing president and
wife speak! I love love them and all they have taught me in just these
3 transfer being here:)
And secondly let me explain my subject line....yes I got bit by a
puppy wolf
dramatic really
week....so this week, apparently pet wolves are a thing and it's legal
here
gospel conversation and exchanging numbers in the end:)
Also it's beginning to look a lot like spring
hello sun
Okay highlights of the week:
- we had exchanges in Milan and It was a very humbling good
experience. I love teaching with all different missionaries, and
learning new things from everyone. I was with Sorella Tolosa who is
from Uruguay, then moved to Spain, and is going home this transfer.
She is so so amazing, and really opened my eyes about a lot of
things...but most importantly that every missionary is not more
important or better than another. It's easy to compare ourself to
others, or feel inadequate at times, but god knows us perfectly and he
knows with each of our individual strengths and weaknesses, we can use
those to be instruments in his hands. As missionaries, we are all set
apart with the same priesthood authority to teach, so no one is better
than the other and no one has more power or authority than the
other....because in the end, the spirit is the true teacher, not us.
I really took this to heart after getting shut down many times with my
language skills during lessons with her and just feeling like I will
never be a good enough....Italians will tell you how it is,
sorella Tolosa just put her arm around me and told me to never stop
speaking! That's how we learn, we mess up and keep trying.
good reminder! also I met some awesome people which is always fun on
exchanges:)
-train rides....we've had many this week, but twice I walked in on
people in the bathroom and it was really awkward so ya....the locks
apparently never worked..at least on that train
-we made cookies...lots and lots (again) :) anddd visited more people
in our apartment which guys it was so awesome cause this is where my
Italian gramps and grandma come in!!
right in, and we had a nice conversation with them, which we found out
their son recently passed away from a tumor. After watching a Mormon
message with them, the spirit filled the room, and I bore my testimony
on eternal families and thanks to Christ and his atonement, we too can
overcome death and sin and be with our families forever. It was so
special talking with them, and we are going to go back and teach them
this Sunday! God truly prepares people, and I feel like I've just
known them forever
the time we left, and man who knew you could love people so much that
you just met.....it's amazing..so yes my Italian grandparents who
after 58 yrs of marriage..fire was still burning
pic below, but their relationship...so adorable! Me and sorella Meager
were dying about how cute these two lovebirds were!!
Also we got in with a family and the dad was very catholic and just
hammering us on questions which was scary to say the least cause we
don't know all the answers and that's where faith comes in... like
President Uchtdorf says, "doubt your doubts before you doubt your
faith."
-we had a lesson with Silvana and brought sorella Miele with us which
turned out so good! They are like best friends now
so fast...literally perfect.
I was the GPS and it was literally so funny trying to give directions
in Italian!!! Me- "sorella Miele to the destra....crap that's right I
meant sinistra sinistra!!!!!!"
were all just laughing and ya definitely a circus of a car ride...but
we made it to silvana's on time so it turned out ok;)
-we played bean boozled (jelly bean game) with our English class
students which literally I haven't laughed so much in my life
egg and spoiled milk are non buona
-we had ward council which was basically consists of a lot of Italians
arguing over things then everyone bacis at the end and are all best
friends again:) haha these people are so quick to forgive! How
awesome
- And lastly I love Sorella Meager and seriously...crazy how similar
we are and everyday finding out we pretty much are the same person,
except her room is Green and mine is turquoise
fun working with her and always always laughing our heads off
Okay that's it for the week:) happy march everyone, and go out and
serve someone this week, or even do yourself Service and get a nice
pedicure or something...cause I'll tell you what, these calluses on my
feet would love a nice pedi so go enjoy one for me ;) haha love you
all and thanks for all the emails and prayers
you in my life!! We are going to play some basketball and football
with the anziani right now for zone pday....guess it's a good thing we
both grew up with lots of brothers who taught us how to play!:)
Love Sorella Rindlisbacher
Quote of the week: "faith is not so much something we believe; faith
is something we live."
After meeting this adorable couple tonight, it just hit me this is why'd here right now is Collegno <3 I met my Italian grandparents! We are gonna go back on Sunday and teach them. So excited! I already love them so much, and wow they are so so prepared... God is amazing! Their son passed away 3 years ago from a tumor, and little Hansen (grandpa) told me I smile so much like his son did.... they called us their nieces.
Shopping in Torino:)
For Zachary haha
Italian fashion... I will never understand.
Gelato.... don't worry mom it was gluten free ;)
Oh man, apparently I agreed to go on a date with this guy and my comp had to clear things up haha! Yup, I don't know this language.
Got all her packages mom sent!
Dr. Appointment went good! I have to cut gluten out of my diet 75% at least. I have to go back Wednesday for an ultrasound on my tummy to make sure insides are okay and get some blood tests. On our way there we were kinda lost so I asked a guy if he knew where the clinic was, and he ended up being our "tour guide" haha and walked us there. And I talked to him about the plan of salvation the whole way and gave him a pamphlet. I think he understood my Italian ahaha!!
English class last night and Roberto he kills me!! Adda the one on his left is just a bit slower and did not get the game at all. But Roberto was DONE! No patience with that man hahah me and Sorella Meager were dying!
Lo Stesso!
I'm a dead man!
Taking cookies to our neighbors!
Cute kiddos we played soccer with after church yesterday! The little girl Alice gave me a cute note the other week after church that says thanks for being my friend <3
Adda from English class ... If Mr. Bean was a girl we found him! She is so funny. & me and Sorella Meager are always laughing at English class from the things she does! She asked for water and I couldnt find a cup, so like the good old days how I would always drink out of measuring cups, thats what I got her haha.
Sorella Clark cutting my hair! Don't worry just a 3 inch trim.
Got my ultra sound today ... SOrella Meager held my hand the whole time haha. Things are all healthy! Just have to continue with the no gluten.

Playing Bean boozed last night... we were both crying in this pic (i had rotten egg and she had barf) we both brushed our teeth 5 times before bed hahaha.
