Ants, soccer game, Pisa, and High fives!!

Wow what a week! Busy...yes, exhausting....yes, but good....YES! Let's
start with transfers....
Saying bye to barbs.....awe my heart💔 super hard, but I know I will
see her again one day. Also my comp Sorella meager..ya goodbyes never
get easier😅

We woke up at 4 to make my train, and a miracle in of itself that we
got those suitcases to the station....those things are NOT LIGHT😅
when desperate times call for desperate measure, I kinda turn into
hulk and those suitcases only weigh 10 pounds at the moment.😅 I was
kinda scared to switch trains in Genova with those things since my
layover was only 20 min, soooo we prayed I would make it and someone
could help me, and GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS! This guy sits down next to me,
he's from Africa and spoke perfect English, then says "are those huge
suitcases yours??? Boy sista I can help you switch trains in Genova."
Thank you🙏🏼 we had a super awesome gospel conversation, and talked
about life, god, family, everything!! next train ride SAME THiNg!! Guy
sits down next to me, speaks perfect English...haha he helped me with
my Italian and asked me what I'm here for. SWEET! We started talking
about Jesus Christ and find out he's atheist, but I felt impressed to
show him the Mormon message hope of god's light. As we watched it, a
few tears filled his eyes, and we had a very heart felt conversation
about god, and his love for his children. I told him like the guy in
the film, he too can know if god is real, it just takes a small act of
faith, and a humble heart in prayer, and god will always respond. He
leaves, and next guy sits down by me...and guess what...you you
guessed it, SAME THING!! lol I think God was trying to teach me a
lesson....Never be afraid to open your mouth!! This guy too spoke
perfect English. 😅 and again we had another really good gospel
conversation and how faith has helped him in his life. After him a
family invited me to sit next to them from California....weird I
thought but I did and I was able to get to know them and share a
little thought with them. They've seen lots of missionaries in
California and had lots of questions to ask. So, what did I learn from
this... A lOT but mostly how cool it is that naturally the gospel
comes up in everything....it relates to every aspect of our lives.

I arrive to Pisa where Sorella Diciola is waiting for me, and we got
straight to work!
That night we visited Sophia who met with missionaries in the past,
and we got in contact with her again, met and invited her to read the
Book of Mormon. She is super sweet and I'm very excited for her:)
Sorell Diciola is so awesome and speaks to me in Italian a lot which
is such a good help with the lingua👍🏽

Okay guys so talk about a dream.....we live 10 min from the leaning
tower, and riding our bikes home at night overlooking the river with
all the lights, then driving past the tower with the fresh smell of
bread in the air....sometimes it feels like I'm in a movie😅
But yes so bikes....basically I'm sore from waste down, and my leg
muscles are gonna be bigger than my head by end of summer...lol so
many hills and the burn is REAL! I love it though❤️ it's relaxing and
so beautiful...plus extra exercise...👍🏽 besides  almost taking out 3
tourists in the streets, and getting through these roundabouts in one
piece, I'm getting a hang of this biking thing, even after riding home
in the pouring rain a few times in dresses...it gets exciting
y'all!👊🏼😊 my favorite is the old grandma and grandpa bikers...they
ride bikes like they drive cars. Lol so I may or may not have
tailgated a few times;) ha no you just ring your little bell and go
past.

High fives (subject line)....well we went to the tower today and you
run around and give people high fives who are doing the "push up the
tower pic" lol....it's pretty entertaining to say the least😅

Church was awesome, and these members are so great❤️ i came to this
same church building 3 years ago with my family one Sunday  and it's
so crazy cool to be back! I felt so welcomed and loved. Our ward is a
mix of many many cultures....even some americans😅 we have languages
from all over the world....but even with that, it's so awesome how we
can all be there and feel the same spirit. That is because the spirit
is a universal language.

We had dinner with the cute Di Ruscio family (they feed us one a week)
and she is one good cook😍 they live in the country and awe words
can't describe how beautiful it was😍 crystal (who is not a member)
comes every time, and we had a good lesson with all of them about
setting goals to help our spiritual growth. Just like our body needs
food to live, our spirits also need nutriment to live.

We have a huge ant problem in our kitchen, and the other morning they
were EVERYWHERE....yuck....atleast our food was safe😅🙏🏼

there is a soccer stadium behind our house.....and the other night we
get home and Stadium lights on, crowds shouting.....it was soccer
time! we watched what we could from our deck, but when they scored a
goal we would shout from our deck and people turn around thinking we
are crazy! Lol GO PISA!!!!!

We have met some awesome people this week on trains, being outside,
and it sometimes catches me off guard how much English I hear😅

Cute sorella sarti is one of my favorites❤️❤️ everytime it rains she
texts us to come over and dry off at her house😅 she is very sick and
is bed ridden, so can't come to church anymore. Her son comes over and
takes care of her. She is a little ball of sunshine, and I feel like
she is my adopted grandma❤️ never a dull moment with that lady.😅

And lastly ersi and eni❤️ these 2 girls are sisters, and eni has a
baptism date for June 9. Right when I met them, I already felt like
they were my sisters. They are so cute, and help me with my
Italian.😊👍🏽 lol but they live in a very sad family situation, and
it's hard to see. They cute girls and I'm happy to be here with
them.❤️

mission life has never been more busy and it really is the best
feeling laying in bed at night ready to pass out and ending with a
prayer letting god know I gave it my all for that day. I love Pisa,
and the people here❤️❤️ I love this gospel guys! The mission has not
been easy...I've said it many times, but I'll say it again...I
wouldn't be here still if I knew this gospel wasn't true. I would have
gone home long ago, but because I know how important this message is,
that's what keeps me going...seeing the change in my life through this
gospel, and wanting to help others find that happiness that they are
missing. Life isn't easy, but with the gospel it can be easier because
we understand the importance of having trials, of having hard times so
we can grow stronger and become like our Heavenly Father and savior.
The gospel gives us purpose, it gives us hope and light through the
dark days. Never forget your value, your importance, and your divine
potential.❤️❤️  I love you guys and hope you all have a great
week...especially all you mamas❤️ happy Mother's Day!!
Love Sorella rindlisbacher
Quote: "men and women who turn their lives over to god will discover
that he can make a lot more out of their lives than they can. He can
deepen their joys, expand their vision, quicken their minds,
strengthen their muscles, lift their spirits, multiply their
blessings, increase their opportunities, comfort their souls, and pour
out peace." -Ezra Taft benson

Shed more tears, hard to say goodbye!
