Hello Hello Everyone!! Yes I just hit my 2 months:) And it's almost
Christmas<3 It's a great time of the year, and cute Italy is
decorating for Natale, and A town next to ours set up these little
cottages, and an Ice rink with lots of lights, and awe I just love it.
<3 Even though there is no snow here....it's beginning to feel a lot
like Christmas:) Me and Sorella Springer set up our cute Christmas
Tree, and it makes me so happy to come home to! Haha anyways yes If
you can't tell I'm so excited for Christmas, and I get to skype my
family so soon! It's going to be a great month! Also it's my Mom's
Bday this next week, so if you see her, give her a big birthday hug
for me:) Happy Birthday mom!!
So guys some awesome miracles this week:)
One day while we were walking to catch the bus, 3 people all within a
few minutes of each other came up to us (which rarely happens) and
asked us if they could have a card that explains more about our
church, So we gave them pass along cards, and one of the ladies gave
us her number! Super cool! Also, Today at the train station, I was
playing the piano, and this guy came up and started talking to me, and
we ended up giving him the restoration lesson right there and he gave
us his number and so we can teach him more! Awe so cool:) This week,
our investigator Davidae came to church with us, and it was testimony
meeting, and so awesome cause so many of the members are converts, and
have some of the best conversion stories! Davidae was crying through
all of sacrament as he listened to the testimonies and It's so amazing
to watch these people change and grow as they come to know the truth
for themselves and recognize that. It's amazing! Also I bore my
testimony...in well aaaa my very fluent Italian;) lol But I said more
words than I thought I knew, so that was cool! It's coming guys it's
coming...very slowly but it's just one day at a time:) We also taught
Silvanna last night, and she is the sweetest lady.<3 she always gives
us chocolate, and plants to take home! lol she is the cutest! So in
our lesson, we really focused on faith in Jesus Christ, and wow the
spirit was so so strong, and it was amazing! I can't explain the
feeling in the room, but it was powerful! She said she is going to
continue to pray and read the book of mormon, and hopefully can come
to church with us soon:) We are visiting a lot of less actives, and Me
and Sorella Springer are making cookies to take to all of them for
christmas:) I am so excited, it's a great season to serve!
-Okay so a few funny/crazy things this week....I have accidentally
called some men women, and women men when I say Ciao Signora...that's
a lady not a guy...no wonder I have gotten so many weird looks lately!
lol the joys of learning a new language:)
-Everything is so so small here! Cars, houses, people! I actually feel
super tall here;D but everything is small until you eat at someones
house...and when it comes to food, there is no limit! lol anyways yes
lots of food, but it's so yummy, and let me tell you all, there is
nothing like a homemade cream puff! yup, that's all I need to say:)
also no more ranch with salads...just oil/vinegar, and never thought
i'd say it, but I love it:)
-Me and Sorella Springer have had the worst luck this week missing so
many buses! haha It's so crazy the minute we leave an appointment, or
walk out our door, there goes the bus!
-At one of our lesson appointments this week with Silvanna, she wanted
to show us all the tricks her dog can do which was really funny, cause
she yells BANG, and instead of playing dead, he threw up, and then ate
it....and while this is happening I reach in my pocket to grab
something, pull out a big leaf bug thing (they are EVERYWHERE HERE!)
and it squished between my fingers, and I don't know how, but I didn't
scream, only inside myself...IT WAS DISGUSTING!
-Everyone and I mean everyone wears scarfs, and if you don't wear one,
they get mad at you:) lol or they probably aren't mad, they just kinda
yell and sound upset, but of course I don't understand what they are
saying so yes, I wear a scarf now with everything! ;D
-We had lunch at our Bishops house, and they shoved like 11 of us
around this TINY table...haha we were all playing footsies...Italians
have no personal space, and it's just so funny! :D
-Lastly, I am so happy I am getting a new bed cause mine is broken,
and i kinda end up on the floor every morning, so Merry Christmas to
me!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Okay guys well Know I love you and am so grateful for all the support
and prayers! Quote of the week: "God doesn't change things, God
Changes people and people change things."
Love Sorella Rindlisbacher
This week we got LOTS of photos and videos in photo share. Love love LOVE it!
When times get hard, I have to remind myself I'm blessed to be in beautiful Italy!

Nick found Arthur in Italy haha

This one is for Bray! "mom! I love blue and pink, I love Elsa can we go buy some?" -Bray

Nick got to go get sushi on her P-day and she was pretty darn excited about that! She says, "Funny story, so we go to pay and because we both don't know italian very well, we pay 12(whatever that sign is) more than our sushi was and come to find out it was ALL YOU CAN EAT. We were so mad! So, yes next time we know ;) we were so confused why everyone was ordering so much food! lol
