Pink fiats, Cookies, patience, creepers, and Italians

Hello my dear family and friends ❤️ come andate le vostre
settimana??😊 spero che era bene❤
Wow another week already....happy almost march😱
So as my subject line says.....I think I've decided I want a pink
fiat;) I've seen so many this week and they are kinda rubbing off on
me😅
-at a dinner appointment...I asked what kind of blood (sangue) we were
having instead of sauce (sugo)...haha ya that went well😑😂
- patience....my sweet companion is full of it and I'm so grateful
because just when I thought I knew a shortcut to a member's house...we
literally ended up in the middle of NOWHERE and were completely lost!
We ended up being 40 min late...and luckily the members laughed about
my bad sense of directions, and Gave me a hard time the entire
night😅dinner was good and so was the spiritual thought, so it ended
up being okay;)
So me and Sorella Meager have been pretty busy this week, and I love
love working with her! We are always laughing so much, and honestly I
think I've almost died cough choking a few times from laughing so
hard.....don't drink water and talk to Sorella Meager at the same
time...it never ends up good😅😂
-We saw cute monopoly man again walking his dog, and were running late
to catch our bus, but next time we are gonna stop and talk to him:)
plus I really wanna find out how old his dog is😳😅
-we made around 120 cookies this week and bring them to every
appointment, and made it a goal to visit everyone in our apartment
complex this transfer, so we take cookies to each home. It's been fun
meeting our neighbors, and share a spiritual message with them if they
let us in. :)
-we had a lesson with Bertha this week (an investigator who has been
canceling on us the last 10 weeks) but I saw her son on the bus, and
asked how she was doing...after him telling me it was her bday, I knew
we had to call her and bring her cookies:) she let us come over, and
we sang happy bday, then actually ended up teaching the restoration
and her friend was there who wanted to listen and asked for a Book Of
Mormon at the end:) super cool!! Miracles❤
-Sunday we went to visit Grazia Vicedomini who is a less active along
with her son. Her husband comes to church every week, and guys it was
such an awesome lesson❤ if you haven't seen mountains to climb (the
Mormon message) go watch it!!! It's so so good and brings tears to my
eyes every time! We all have struggles and problems in our life...our
mountains we each need to climb, but through Christ and his atonement,
through the peace that reading the scriptures and prayer brings, we
can each climb these mountains and become stronger. Grazia was
sobbing, I was crying...ha we were all a bit teary eyed, and it was
just such a special spirit in the room.  I then asked her husband the
importance of the sabbath...what makes him want to come to church
every week...and he brought up the right point.... to take the
sacrament! So me and Sorella Meager bore our testimonies on the
importance of the sacrament, and invited Grazia and her son to church
this week. They both haven't been forever, but miracles can
happen.😊💖
-also at their house, her husband poured coke in with his
water...please no😂  me and Sorella Meager just thought that was so
odd and then she starts laughing, which includes her wheezing, and it
gets me going😂 anytime something funny happens at appointments she
starts kicking me under the table and I can never keep it together😅
Haha another example...always laughing with her😅 laughing is good,
makes you happy:) so everyone laugh a little more this week...It's
good for your soul😄
-speaking of mountains to climb, only my family really knows, but for
the past month I have been sick with different things, and for so long
my sleep was really bad and getting worse....lots of other symptoms
starting arising too, but after going to the doctor, talking to my
mission mom, and other people, the conclusion came down to gluten
intolerance. I went back to the dr. For blood tests yesterday and
today I have an ultrasound to make sure my insides are okay, but I
have to cut gluten out of my diet, and I'm in the Land Of GLUTEN...lol
almost everything they eat here has it, but I have a sure testimony
that god gives us exactly what we need when we need it, and this may
be my mountain I have to climb right now, but my faith is stronger
than my doubts, and although I don't know the why's of this happening,
especially while I'm here in Italy, I have faith that one day I will
look back and understand. Instead, the members just feed me lots of
rice at dinner appointments, so it all works out okay😄 although I
will say...gluten free bread is 😳😳😳😅 So thank you for all the
prayers❤ I sure have felt them!!!
-we went to visit Sorella Miele Sunday night as well, and Sunday I
just could not speak, and think...haha long day😅 she told me to send
her a text when I know the language and We just laughed together cause
ya....I have a longggg ways to go! Lol just when I thought things were
coming along, i get shut down😂 it's okay, it's humbling, and I know I
will be able to speak and understand when God needs me too:)
-creepers...yes let me tell you guys...the men here...oh we have some
crazy stories😅😳I'll just sum it up with the other day I guess I
agreed to go on a date with this olderish man and his friend who
followed us in the library...nodding your head when you don't
understand the lingua and saying "si" to everything is not always the
best idea😅
-I had no idea public restrooms cost money...so paid a whole euro for
that😅 the things we take for granted!
-we had family night with Barbara and her little boys Zachy and Omar❤
some of my most favorite people in the entire world! I could literally
spend everyday with them😅 we watched a little Mormon message, and
talked about the importance of service, and examples of how we can
serve others. Even just a simple smile can change someone's day:)
-a lesson with the sassi family this week, Sorella sassi just pulls
down Francesco's pants as we are all talking and starts rubbing aloe
on his bottom....haha these Italians❤😂 love them to pieces!!!
-we had another awesome lesson with Silvana last night, and talked
about the importance of families and shared with her the proclamation
on the family. It was awesome, and just makes me so excited one day to
have my own family:)
-and lastly, I LOVE BEING A MISSIONARY! Seriously it's such a blessing
everyday to wake up and know that I get to be in a tool in the lord's
hands in helping his children anyway I can:) it definitely has been
some of the most challenging days in my life thus far, but also some
of the happiest too! The mission is such a life changing experience
and I'm grateful everyday for this time I have here in Italy to learn,
grow, and serve all around me. I hope you all have a great week, and
take the opportunity to serve someone this week...even just a smile or
a text...every little thing counts!
Love sorella Rindlisbacher
Quote of the week:
Choosing how we react to challenges, President Monson says, "we can't
direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails." "To expect perfection
now would only mean denying ourselves the opportunity for growth."
Pictures:
-Mom sent us peanut butter and lots of treats!! Thank you mom🤗❤
-dominos exsist here and even better...they deliver on MOPEDS!!!!!
-Sorella Meager trying to lure a cat into our apartment....😅
-cool church...but literally they are everywhere!

potter man) lives right next to my cabin...and Anziano Beujeu went to
