Ciao friends and family<3 FIRST... HAPPY LATE VALENTINES!!! I hope you
all had lots of chocolate, and did something nice for someone else:) Imade Sorella Meager and Me Hot chocolate, and she made us popcorn...sothat was our little treat;)Okay random funny things of the week....-So yes Just found out this week...Italians fry Nutella....did I tryit....No..... do I want to No:D Haha okay random, but I just foundthat so strange!-cooking me and Sorella Meager dinner the other night, I lit the ragon fire, and Fastest reflexes IN MY LIFE!! I put that out fast....Goodthing there was a bowl of water next to me already!! Haha, but cookingis always an adventure;) I've learned a lot of things to cook andenjoy making us meals.....when they turn out how they Are suppose to:)lol my cooking skills=work and progress except I will say I havemastered Italian Potatoes!🏽
-Every Morning this cute fella (we call him the Monopoly man cause helooks just like him) but he walks his dog (that has to be atleast 500yrs old) outside our apartment in circles in the middle of the streetfor who knows how long...Literally the cutest thing! Haha-When I first got my new comp....I got us lost on the wayhome...Missed our bus stop so we walked a bit longer to ourhouse....haha first 15 minutes being with each other, I think sherealized how bad at directions I was without even telling herI mean
I've been in Collegno for 3 months and still can't find my way around,But Since that day, I've managed to get us to all our appointmentsthis week....Thanks to our ipads and maps me! I feel lots moreresponsible now being the one getting us around, finding train times, and even making phone calls although I still barley understandItalian! The members always know when It's me on the phone....Theyalways Say this is Sorella Rindlisbacher huh! Haha It's been hard, buta fun challenge...making me grow up a bit;)-And lastly, we taught our english class how to say Sally SoldSeashells by the seashore, and Oh it gets me every time!!!🏼
SO SO
FUNNY!!!Well it's been another busy good week, but let's just start with thesad part...saying goodbye to my trainer:( I cried and cried at thetrain station....haha It was a sad day, but I know Sorella Springer isgoing to do great things in her new city, and our 12 weeks togetherwent by just way too fast! She's great, and Again I got so so luckywith another amazing companion "My bottle breaker." Sorella Meager isfrom Texas...only girl with 3 brothers, and LOVES RODEO!!! So much funto have that in common with her since that has always been a big partof my life....horses and high school rodeoAnyways we get along so
well, and Everyday we are laughing over who knows what, and just sohappy to be doing the lords work with such an awesome comp! She isjust hitting her 1/2 mark in the mission, so her Italian is BEAUTIFULand she helps me so much with it:) But miracles guys...MIRACLES! Thispast week, I don't know how but all of a sudden I can speak so muchmore Italian, and it's literally all credit to God, because he is aGod of miracles....I still have a long ways to go, but looking back atthe first weeks here, My Italian has improved so much, and it's allthanks to the gift of tongues cause my slow brain could not learn thismuch Italian in 4 months without that.Anyways I'm so excited for this transfer! Already seeing miracles withSorella Meager, and love seeing how she does missionary work:) We talkto so so many people, and She helps me feel more confident talking topeople on the buses, metros....It's always somewhat awkward causepeople are so closed off here, so starting conversations is fun;) butI'm getting more comfortable just talking to random people, so that'sbeen fun learning from her:)We did some finding (door knocking) and Never before have peopleinvited us back over, but a few people did, and again....Miracles:) Wehave had so many appointments this week with members, less actives, and looking to find new investigators everyday! I found the busier weare, the more happy I feel because I'm thinking less about myself andmore about others, and it's so true like the scriptures say, Servingothers truly brings us so much happiness:) We took a train out toPinerolo which is on the boarder of France, (Like 40 min train ridefrom Collegno) to have family night on monday with the Lusso's andSassi's who now live with them while they find a house, but Seriouslyso much fun<3 We Made them cookies, talked about the Importance of theBook of Mormon, played some scripture chase, and yes guys....I'm justso blessed to be with these people<3 Each of them holds such a specialplace in my heart! And something cool we talked about along with theBook of Mormon is a quote I love, We talk to god through Prayer, andGod talks to us through the Scriptures....so If you guys feel like youaren't receiving answers to your questions, sometimes all you have todo is study the words of God, and it will come....It just takes someeffort on our part:) Also a pretty cool Miracle....We had a feeling togo see Gabriele (this little old man who has been taking lessons fromthe Anziani) but we just dropped by and brought him a treat, andshared with him a little mormon message. He said he was so grateful wecame to see him cause he was having a very hard day....I asked him whyand he said it was a year ago today my wife passed away, so God sentyou 2 over today when I needed a little pick me up. HOW AWESOME ISTHAT! Moments like that are moments that being a missionary is theabsolute best<3Last night we had an awesome lesson with Silvana, and I felt impressedto ask her and Matteo (her husband) to read the Book of Mormontogether and pray together about it, and they said they would:) i lovewatching people's lives and hearts changing before my eyes...it'struly so humbling and powerful. And it really all comes down to theBook of Mormon! It truly is the keystone of our religion....if theBook of Mormon is true, then everything....EVERYTHING else istrue...it's just that simple:) so like President Monson says...if youhaven't read the Book of Mormon, read it! I know it can be hard, trustme, I've been there too before...finding time to read, even justhaving the desire to read was not there most of my life, (ask myparents about it) lol but guys I truly know now.....now how importantthe Book of Mormon is because I've seen it change lives here on mymission, and seeing people give up so much to be apart of the truechurch and treasure the Book of Mormon more than I ever did cause Ialways just took it for granted... and I regret how many years I nevertook the time to read it. So if your not, start now, it's never toolate:) It will change your lives as it has changed mine!Okay well that's it for the week....So I'll end with quote of theweek: "Do not pray for easy lives, Pray to be Stronger. Do not prayfor tasks equal to your powers; Pray for powers equal to yourtask."......If Life gets too hard to stand, Kneel." -Gordon B.HinckleyLove Sorella Rindlisbacher

My comp is so cute! She even made my bed for me the morning while I made us smoothies :)
